Our Story

Like many period property owners, I experienced constant condensation, cold rooms and deteriorating timber frames caused by moisture sitting on the windows year after year.

Maintaining original windows became an ongoing cycle of repairs, repainting and restoration - all while trying to preserve the character of the property itself.

After fitting secondary glazing in my own home, I saw the difference it could make immediately. The comfort improved, condensation reduced dramatically and the windows were finally protected.

But I also felt the product could be refined - both visually and practically.

Heritage Window Solutions was created to offer a more considered approach: discreet secondary glazing designed specifically for heritage homes, with carefully selected finishes, simple installation and a focus on preserving original windows rather than replacing them.
